Greetings Cards
A small, illustrated range for every dog occasion — from new puppy celebrations to birthdays, just-because moments and the hard ones too.
Why we made these
There are a lot of dog cards out there, and most of them feel either generic or try-hard. We wanted something a bit different — cards that are warm and illustrated, that acknowledge how seriously (and joyfully) a lot of us take our dogs, without being saccharine about it.
The range is deliberately small. We'd rather do a handful of designs really well than produce dozens of mediocre ones. Each card is illustrated, printed on quality card stock and sized to fit a standard envelope, so you can actually post them without drama.
And because Tommy came from a rescue, a portion of every sale goes to dog rescue charities. It's a small gesture, but it's real — not a vague "we support rescue" but actual money from actual sales going to actual rescues. You can read more about that on the about page.
The range
Here's what we make. Each card comes with a blank inside for your own message, and a small printed note about the rescue donation on the back.
Our birthday card for dogs — illustrated with a party hat, a completely unbothered expression and a dog who has made it abundantly clear that they do not care for birthday hats but is tolerating it for the cake. Also works as a birthday card for the dog's human, from the dog's point of view.
Inside: blank, for your own message.
For the friend who has just acquired a puppy and has not yet realised that they are not getting a full night's sleep for approximately six months. Warmly illustrated, honest in tone, genuinely congratulatory despite the above. This is one of our most popular designs — people seem to appreciate the honesty.
Inside: blank, for your own message.
This one was the hardest to design. We wanted it to feel genuinely comforting, not greeting-card generic. The illustration is quieter than the other designs (a dog curled up in soft light) and the text on the front is the only card we didn't try to be clever on. Because sometimes there isn't anything clever to say. This card is for when you need to tell someone that you understand what they've lost.
Inside: blank, for your own message.
This is the card for people who don't need an occasion. An illustrated dog doing something joyful on the front — bounding through long grass, tongue at an impractical angle, entirely absorbed in being a dog, and nothing else. Sometimes the right card is the one that just says: I thought of you. Or more accurately, I thought of your dog and then thought of you. These go out a lot around birthdays-that-aren't-birthdays and to friends who've had difficult weeks.
Inside: blank, for your own message.
Each design is hand-illustrated and then printed in the UK on 350gsm card stock — proper, substantial card that doesn't flop when you stand it up on a mantelpiece. The envelopes are white, square-flap, and included with every card. There's no plastic, no cellophane wrapping.
We keep the range small on purpose. Each design has gone through a fair number of iterations before we were happy with it, and we'll add new cards when they feel genuinely right — not to fill space.
Tommy came from a rescue centre, which means we exist as a household partly because of the work rescue charities do. It didn't feel right to build something around his story without contributing something back.
A portion of every card sold goes directly to UK dog rescue organisations. We're transparent about this — if you want to know exactly where the money goes, email us at [email protected] and we'll tell you. It's not a marketing line; it's an actual accounting line.
Cards can be ordered directly via email: just let us know which card or cards you'd like, how many of each, and where you'd like them sent. We'll send you a payment link and get them in the post within a couple of working days. UK delivery only at the moment.
If you need a bundle for an event, a dog show, a dog-friendly venue or anything like that, get in touch and we can discuss quantities. We're easy to work with, or so people keep telling us.
Want a card? Email [email protected] with which design(s) you'd like, quantity, and your delivery address. We'll sort the rest.
Get in touch and we'll get one out to you. And if you want to read more about Tommy (rescue dog, sofa thief, occasional hero) the about page has the full story.
